This Week Is All About Venus

This week, Venus takes the lead in the celestial theater. Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn play supporting roles, and even Uranus makes a cameo, but Venus is most certainly the star. With three friendly trines and two planets going Direct, it looks like good times could bless us all this week- hopefully it’s a sweet holiday week for those who celebrate or visit with family.

Venus spends this week in Scorpio, making connections with Mercury on Monday and the heavy hitters of the sky later in the week, before moving on to Sagittarius.

Water Trine Wednesday: Venus-Jupiter-Saturn Grand Water Trine

These connections bring some harmony and sweetness to our week, especially with the two benefics, Venus and Jupiter, making a trine from two water signs. Yes, Venus is not at her best in Scorpio and Jupiter is currently retrograde, but it’s still a good energy for us to enjoy. A trine from Saturn on the same day, actually adds stability and healthy boundaries to the energy, keeping the Venus-Jupiter trine from getting too hedonistic. Together, these three create a grand water trine pattern in the sky, triggering an opportunity, if you are open to the flow and ready ride the current.

Thanksgiving Weekend: Another Grand Water Trine + Directs!

Then on Thursday and Saturday, Saturn and Mercury turn Direct in Scorpio and Pisces. It’ll be a relief to wrap up the review process in these two areas and finally make some forward momentum again.

The moon will join Saturn and Neptune in Pisces this weekend, strengthening the energy of the grand water trine again and adding its power to Saturn’s turn Direct.

Venus also opposes Uranus on Saturday, giving a bit of spark and electric power to this weekend. Sounds like a good day to put up my Christmas tree! 🎄

On Sunday, a Venus trine with Neptune makes a deep, sensual, or emotional connection possible, perfect for fueling fantasies and escapism. It’s a great day to curl up with a novel and a cup of hot cocoa, or cuddle up with your loved ones to escape into a movie.
